About Joe Zarycki

Joe Zarycki is the founder and owner of Dynamic Engineering LLC, an automation and controls engineering firm based in the Cleveland, Ohio area.

Joe holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, where his published research focused on super-resolution detection of embedded objects in structures. He founded Dynamic Engineering to bring that same measurement rigor to industry: helping manufacturers and labs test their products faster, more accurately, and with full traceability.

His work centers on the National Instruments (now Emerson) ecosystem — LabVIEW, TestStand, cRIO, and cDAQ — integrated with PLCs, instrumentation, and custom fixtures. Since founding the firm in 2008, he has delivered systems ranging from automated test stations that perform government certification testing — including ENERGY STAR — on water heaters, furnaces, boilers, ovens, refrigerators, and other consumer appliances, to machine-vision inspection stations that measure and grade automotive components in real time on production lines in the U.S., Mexico, and Belgium. His customers include appliance manufacturers, standards and certification laboratories, and automotive suppliers.

When a client calls Joe, they get the engineer who architects, codes, and commissions the system — not a handoff chain. He has served as a certified lead internal auditor for ISO 9001 and ISO 17025, and that audit-grade discipline around documentation and traceability carries into every system he delivers.

Outside the lab, Joe plays soccer, volleyball, and ultimate frisbee, and unwinds with board games with his family.
